Sue is an excellent teacher. Her ability to explain science in layman’s language and teach the practical side in a clear and logical manner made the entire day so valuable and enjoyable.  The notes and instruction were very impressive and working on the poo from one’s own herd made the whole experience so much more relevant and personal. Furthermore Sue’s own research into the subject of parasitology  underpinned the subject and the value of not being overcome by the hype on the internet. Introduction to Parasitology. What an amazing one day course. Sue explained everything so well even simple maths that I am so bad at! I learnt so much about these horrid little parasites that harm or annoy our alpacas. I am now confident that I can test my own herd and more regularly. I can not recommend this course enough. Rich and I attended Sue's Alpaca Parasitolgy course today wanting to learn and understand more from the results we receive back from faecal sampling and to have much more control over our own small herd health by testing samples ourselves.This course gave us all the above and more...it was a fascinating and fun day! Lots of information, taught in a way that was easy to understand and digest. Sue has an incredible amount of knowledge in this field from her own studies and research and her passion really shines through. We loved the practical side of the course, preparing the slides and getting to grips with the microscopes by studying our own alpaca samples, this really helped in learning what to look for and what not to!Overall a brilliant day, a really warm welcome by Sue and Ian into thier home and a delicious lunch!
